About Dr. Lanphier
Loretta Lanphier, ND, CN, HHP, CH is a Doctor of Naturopath, Clinical Nutritionist, Holistic Health Practitioner and Clinical Herbalist in the Houston, TX area and Founder / CEO of Oasis Advanced Wellness. Dr. Lanphier has done and continues to do extensive research in health science, nutrition, natural medicine, endocrine system, weight loss, herbology, alternative cancer treatments, the cancer/disease industry and is also involved in researching new alternative disease treatments and products. Dr. Lanphier founded Oasis Advanced Wellness to provide a place where people can be educated in how to get the body healthy and keep it healthy without the use of drugs, surgery or radiation. As a cancer survivor using natural medicine, Dr. Lanphier developed a driving desire to help people get well and stay well. She is able to relate extensively, both as a patient and a practitioner, to clients suffering from disease. Dr. Lanphier is dedicated to helping people create lasting changes in their health and enhancing well-being through whole body nutritional balancing and natural medicine modalities.

Personal Information
If physicians were to miraculously give sight to one who is blind; or miraculously restore hearing to one who is deaf; or miraculously heal the heart of one who is dying; the world would rush to their doorsteps by the millions. But, if the miracle is as simple and inexpensive as a lifestyle change of a choice of eating habits, exercise, stress reduction, hi-tech supplementation, change of thought patterns and education; few will listen and even less will decide to participate. We seem to only be motivated by the specter of death and disability which causes panic and fear. I would think that the news that obesity, high blood pressure, type II diabetes, fibromyalgia, atheroslerosis, cancer, coronary heart disease, stroke and numerous inflammatory diseases, can be reversed and avoided would be greeted with worldwide enthusiasm and joy; sadly, most treat this concept as quackery.
However, I am optimistic that more and more people are observing what isn't working in their lives, and they will start to observe what works, and change, because of the examples we project. What concerns me now, is the observance that many, many people who are struggling with health problems are trapped by their own behavior and fear that has been "programmed in" by the allopathic community in the name of modern science. Somewhere, in our quest for "perfect medicine", we have lost the correct definition of health and seem content to accept obesity, pain, stress, depression, disease, fatigue, etc. as a normal part of the aging process and thus continue in habits that feed these problems.
My passion is to educate, teach and counsel people that when it comes to healthcare, "stepping out of the box" will allow them options to not only get the body healthy but keep it healthy. When we recognize that "fear" is our worse enemy and take steps to eliminate it, then we are truly ready to begin the journey to good health and well-being, which includes first and foremost taking responsibility for our own health or lack of it.
